Our favourite 30-minute hotel room workout routine

There’s no denying we’ve well and truly hit the silly season, which means the countdown to your upcoming break is probably *on*. That’s why we’ve compiled our favourite 30-minute hotel workout routine for you to embrace on your travels. Plus, the beauty of this routine is that it can be completed without gym equipment, so all you need is a hotel room, your luggage, and 30 minutes.

Our Go-to Hotel Workout Routine

Warm up with a few dynamic stretches and get down to business with:

2 x 30 secs of Jogging on the spot

2 x 30 secs of Hindu Squats

2 x 30 secs of Inchworms

2 x 30 secs of Jumping Jacks

2 x 30 secs of Reverse Lunges

A good workout wouldn’t be complete without a decent warm-up routine, so we recommend moving your body and getting the blood pumping.

Hot Tip:

Staying somewhere with a nice view? Try working out near the window for a moment of health + serenity — AKA a match made in heaven!

Next up, youve got to try these Christmas Card-io exercises.

3 rounds of:

30 secs of Jump Squats

30 secs of Mountain Climbers

30 secs of Lateral Lunges

30 secs of Burpees

30 secs of High Knees

Fun Fact:

Cardiovascular activity or ‘cardio’ refers to physical activity that increases heart rate and respiration.

It’s also one of our favourite fitness activities because it can be completed almost anywhere, but especially on our gym floor.

The fun part:

Grab something to improvise in the place of a weight. This can be anything from a drink bottle to your carry-on luggage.

We love these holly, jolly strength exercises:

3 x 10 Bicep Curls

3 x 10 Bent Over Row

3 x 10 Overhead Presses

Not to be confused with the naughty list, these workouts deliver a huge range of benefits.

Now it's time for a few static stretches:

30 x secs per side of Seated Hamstring Stretches

30 x secs per side of Shoulder Stretching

30 x secs per side of Standing Lunges

30 x secs per side of Standing Quad stretches
