At Genesis Health and Fitness, we want to help you to achieve your fitness goals. But before we can do that, you need to work out what those goals are and what it is you want from your time at the gym.

When you join us as a member, you have access to a free Fitness Solutions consultation, where we narrow down your long-term goals for yourself and plan out the best classes or workouts to achieve them. From there, the freedom to decide is yours.
Many of our locations host dozens of classes a week, all of which are free for members. You’ll always find a class that suits your schedule. If you’d like something more personal and customised, you can sign up for a small group personal training session, which allows instructors to give more attention to each person. And if you’d prefer a dedicated instructor at your side for the whole session, our personal training near Berringa is available for over a dozen different areas of focus.

Which exercises work for your goals? As professionals, it’s our job to provide clear, helpful answers. That’s why we mark all our classes using a combination of four Fitness Solutions labels: Strength & Toning, Wellness, Weight Loss, and Fitness. Classes with multiple Fitness Solutions can be adjusted towards any of them. If you choose Pilates with a focus on Wellness, we make sure your class or personal session targets that. If you choose Weight Loss in a cycling class, you’ll have friendly instructors ready to work towards that with you.
Similarly, you’ll know which classes are most suitable for you based on your Fitness Solutions consultation. If you’d like to build your core muscles while still relaxing and destressing from work, you’ll appreciate the Yoga Pilates class we offer. If you want to target your lower body and really add definition to your glutes and legs, you’ll know to lean towards Step & COBA.
