Sometimes
the day just gets away from you. You get a bit sidetracked here and there and
before you know it, it’s already evening and you didn’t get anything finished
that you wanted accomplished. However, with a bit of planning, you can change
all of this. Here are four ways to finish a week feeling like you are getting
ahead!
Keep a Schedule
If
you write down what you want to accomplish every day, then guess what….you have
a better chance of getting it done. Seems obvious but did you know only 3% of
adults have written down their goals. Planning a daily schedule will ensure you
keep on task. It will ensure you achieve your priorities and by being more
efficient with your time, you will always find an hour to pop to the gym!
Work in a Quiet Place
You
might not be getting everything accomplished because you are working in a noisy
place that always seems to have something going on. If you can, work in a quiet
place that is going to give you the solitude you need to get all of your tasks
completed. A quick and clean space, whether at work or at home, will make
getting jobs done so much easier.
Get the Most Important Tasks
Finished First
If
you don’t get everything finished during the day that you need to, it’s okay as
long as you get the most important things completed. A few of the minor things
can wait if need be. Get all of the necessary items checked off on your list
first and remember, if you pick it up, don’t put it down until it’s done!
Delegate a Few Responsibilities
There is a very good chance that not everything needs to be accomplished by you. It is okay to delegate responsibilities if you must to trusted individuals if it helps you manage your time better. Ask your family and friends to assist with certain tasks and they may just surprise you by agreeing to help you out! Take an hour to train someone to do a job, and you can save yourself weeks or work….which is why my son is learning to vacuum the house
